The Office of Allowances reminds those in the field that the
eAllowances system is now available on Office 365 My Apps under "OpenNet
Applications." Click on the OpenNet Application icon and scroll down to
A/OPR/ALS and you will see a link to eAllowances. If it does not open directly,
open the link in a new tab or window.
Education Allowance reimbursement reminder: Suspension and
Debarment specifically prohibits excluded parties from soliciting, conducting,
or participating in business with the Federal Government. Similarly, the
Federal Government shall not enter into, renew, or extend award for any
procurement or covered transactions. Education Allowances are considered
covered transactions under 2 C.F.R. 180 ("The Nonprocurement Common
Rule"). Therefore, payments may not be made directly or indirectly by
Agencies to listed parties. To ensure
that you receive reimbursement for allowable Education Allowances check SAM.gov
before acquiring services from an educational vendor to make sure they are not
excluded from receiving Federal funds.
The Living Quarters Allowances (LQA) changes for Canada,
Singapore and United Kingdom are based on surveys submitted by Montreal,
Toronto, and Vancouver and Singapore and Menwith Hill. All other LQA changes are based on currency
exchange rate information reported to the Office of Allowances as of the first
Thursday of Pay Period 1 (January 5, 2023).
All Post Allowance (COLA) changes in this cable are based on
currency exchange rate information reported to the Office of Allowances as of
the first Thursday of Pay Period 1 (January 5, 2023).
