Effective June 9, 2019, unless otherwise noted, allowances and/or post differential rates are revised as shown. These changes are issued under TL:SR-970.
Please inform local offices of all U.S. government agencies at the posts listed in this cable.
Important: Read this entire message, as posts may be listed more than once. Changes are listed by allowances type.
Taiwan has been included, when applicable, under arrangement with the American Institute in Taiwan.
The Post (Hardship) Differential changes for Estonia and India are based on Post (Hardship) Differential Questionnaires submitted by Tallinn and Kolkata.
The Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) change for Japan is based on an LQA survey submitted by Yokosuka. All other Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) changes are based on currency exchange rate information reported to the Office of Allowances as of the first Thursday of Pay Period 11 (May 30, 2019).
The Post Allowance (COLA) changes for Cyprus and Thailand are based on COLA surveys submitted by Nicosia and Bangkok. All other COLA changes are based on currency exchange rate information reported to the Office of Allowances as of the first Thursday of Pay Period 11 (May 30, 2019).
The reporting requirement for submission of the Retail Price Schedule surveys for Nicosia, Athens, Amman, and Bangkok are amended effective June 9, 2019, with TL:SR-970 as follows:
